Before walking down the aisle, Lisa, our coordinator, tucked us into the lobby of the Rolex building (next door to our venue) to hide from the guests. She provided us with some yummy champagne and water bottles to help pass the time.
hamming it up for the camera
my sister serving the champagne and other refreshments for the bridal party….
and serving herself…(it was already empty by this point…)
me serving the hubby because we’re so mature…
my sister made me do it - I know, I’m KLASSY with a “K”…. (I hope my mom isn’t viewing this!)
standing around - I couldn’t sit down because I was afraid of wrinkles and getting dirty!
talking to Marty, our officiant….
touch ups…
more sitting around and waiting….
note: I did not do my own flowers for my wedding - that would’ve been crazy! I only ordered the flowers and supplies and picked them up. My aunt created all of these designs with the help of my other family members and wedding guests….
In the beginning, I did want to do my own, but I quickly realized that I was being too overbearing and otherwise “bridezilla”, so in the end, I just let it go and went with the flow. Although they weren’t exactly what I wanted, I think everything turned out great.
The marriage is what really matters and I couldn’t be happier!
