About Mrs. Kiwi

This is HUGE

July 6th, 2007 @ 4:12 pm by Mrs. Kiwi

Okay, I just got my e-proof and was going over our invitation. Let me tell you: I’m a nervous person. I worry about things that make no sense. For instance, when walking over a bridge, I worry that somehow my phone will release itself from my tight grip and plunge into the creek below. If I’m hiking, I worry that I’ll accidentally jump over (not fall- JUMP) the side.

It’s things like checking the proof of our invite that make me shaky. I second guess everything: Is my middle name really Marie? Did I spell it right? Are you SURE September is spelled this way? Is that the right day we’re getting married?

I swear, it’s a problem. I’ve been griping for days about this lack of e-proof, and once I received it, I was more than willing to shop it around to various friends, family, people who can read, people who think invitations are neat, even asked the dog if he thinks that script is right. FYI, Woofie approves. So, my dear hive, the invitations are ready to print. And I’m ready to elope. :) My stomach can’t take this many choices.

I’m the same way! I always second guess myself about spellings, and I’m very afraid that I’ll offend someone and end up fired from my job. I worry that saying “Yeah” is inappropriate when asked by a manager if a team member is here. Should I have said “yes” or is “yep” better still?
I’m glad that Woofie approves! I’m sure they are perfect!!!

I do it too! I literally sit there and ask myself if my name is spelled that way. It just doesn’t LOOK right, yanno, like it’s suddenly an alien language.

LOL… Miss Snow Pea, I do the exact same thing! I always hold my ring on with my pinky and thumb whenever I’m climbing something or going over a sewer grate. :)
