DIY Wonderful Graffiti

July 7th, 2007 @ 1:54 pm by Mrs. Bee

Wonderful Graffiti now offers a “design your own” option on their website.  I played around with the features for a bit, and they’re really easy and fun to use.  This custom graffiti with heart embellishment I created below comes out to $138.74.

You can mix type styles, sizes, colors, add embellishments, and layer text and embellishments.  Wonderful Graffiti has lots of great ideas in their galleries, so they’re a good place to start browsing for inspiration. :)

I loved Wonderful Graffiti’s products, but was shot down quickly when my venue told me I couldn’t use them anywhere. :( Not surprising coming from the place that told me I couldn’t use real rose petals inside or out in case someone stepped on one and slipped.

My advice–ask your venue(s) before you spend a lot of time designing one.

I ordered a sample from Wonderful Graffiti about a week ago (you beat me blogging about it!) and I loved it. I don’t think there will be an opportunity to use it at my wedding but I think I will design/order something for our home. It was so easy to use and remove.

I love my Wonderful Graffiti. I knew there was no way my facility would let me put it on the walls, removable or not. I decided to put it on a mirror — it was some work but the facility was more than happy to put up the mirror for us. It is so beautiful and even more special due to the fact that I get to hang it in my home after the wedding — rather than taking it off the wall and throwing it away.

Lissa–the mirror is a great idea! I do want to put up some Wonderful Graffiti in our home, but we’re planning on buying a house in the next year, so I’m waiting for that. Possibly “Semper Amemus”, which is engraved in our wedding bands, in the bedroom, and my favorite gingerbread recipe in the kitchen.

I love their stuff… I was in love with their dance floor monogram options….
