My bridal shower was this past Friday! Even though the event was intimate, I know my girlfriends went through great lengths to make the night special, so that meant a lot me. I am still waiting for the official “picture-taker” to send me some more pictures, but here are the few that we took on my camera.

My 16 year old sister, aka my Maid of Honor. She’s actually taller than me, but I made her sit down so she didn’t tower over me, haha.

I also had my bachelorette party on Friday night. Sorry, no pix from that will be posted, as I had to wear some interesting, uhm… “headgear.” But I was a good sport about it, and the night as a whole was a total blast!!

Hrmm… on another topic, I’ve really been re-thinking the whole makeup artist thing after seeing these pictures. I look rather ghostly, since my foundation is obviously too pale for my new darker summer skin tone. Yikes… and how do I get rid of my shininess!? I layered on mattefier AND Smashbox primer!  Any ideas?
