The Nightmares Just Don’t Stop

July 12th, 2007 @ 4:00 pm by Mrs. Blueberry

Nearly two months after my wedding, and I’m still having nightmares. I think some of this has to do with my renewed interest in it–our pro pics shoud be here in just a few days, I just put together this rockin’ shadowbox, and I’m starting to become distanced enough from it that I don’t mind thinking about it anymore. smiley1037

Top row: program, my headband, my garter, matchbook. Bottom row: napkin, tag and ribbon from a favor, complete invitation (envelopes and everything), Mr. Blueberry’s boutonniere. Scattered in the bottom: flower petals, stars from the favors, and some confetti from the tables.

Last night I dreamed that we were having our wedding three times. Like a play will put on the production every day, we were ‘getting married’ every day–only it was like a Friday, Saturday, Sunday matinee thing. So it got to be the third wedding day, and my family and I were all sick of it. It was right before the ceremony was to begin, everyone was lined up, and I realized that I hadn’t put on my makeup yet! I had been too busy setting up and decorating! I rushed upstairs and started putting on my makeup. Only my matte mousse foundation was all sticky and gloppy (like stage pancake makeup!), the only lipstick I could find had big ol’ pieces of *glitter* in it, and my mascara was missing! So I grabbed a bottle of wine and a corkscrew, opened the wine and took a big swig, then ran around with the corkscrew desperately looking for my mascara. I finally found a tiny sample-sized tube, which I started applying. Only, once I had it on I realized I looked like Leela:

Yes, this was magical mascara that turned my two eyes into one. Yeesh!

Only good part of the dream that I can recall, was that someone showed up early with a stretch limo and let me and Mr. Blueberry ride around in it just for shits ’n giggles.  smiley1037

You poor girl. That is some serious dream. Although, Leela is pretty cool, for having one eye and all.
