A Cocktail Shower

Friday night, I spent the evening with my lovely ladies and they presented me with my bridal shower invitation. It’s going to be an afternoon cocktail soiree. Fun!!

Embossed stamping on matted rectangles. The DIY bug is contagious within my circle of friends.

I love how they painstakenly pounded each invitation with an eyelet. Now that’s love.

And to top it off, they took graphics from our wed-site to coordinate with the wedding theme.

LOVE. IT.

Love to hear that someone else is having a cocktail party shower! That is what I will be having when my time comes around….. we have deemed it the “shower with a twist”…. get it, twist? Like a drink? Hehe.

I had a cocktail/martini themed shower and it fabulous!!!! They had a different colored martini to match each of my 3 wedding colors. LOVED IT!

I never thought of a cocktail shower! That’s an awesome idea & the invites are cute too =) If anyone else is using eyelets, I highly recommend buying a Cropadile (Crop A Dile). It is a hand held, super easy, quick & no pounding (quiet!) eyelet setter used by scrapbookers. It has two different hole punches on the sides & a variable eyelet size setter. Just squeeze the spring loaded handle & you’re done! They go for about $28 @ Michael’s or maybe some of your scrapbooking friends already have one. I love mine!
