About Mrs. Strawberry

I hope so. I just ordered my wedding day bracelet from Creme-De-Luxe. My mother is convinced that I need pearl earrings to match..but I love the chandeliers too much to trade them out.

Creme-De-Luxe is absolutely fabulous if you are looking for custom made jewelery at a reasonable price. You can choose the type of pearl, color of pearl, type of clasp and many other details. It is perfect for bridesmaid jewelery! :)

Do what you want! My earrings, necklace, and tiara were all a mix of rhinestones and pearls. However, my bracelet was strictly pearls.

I say yes. I am wearing my great grandmother’s real pearls, but my earrings will be faux pearl and rhinestone - even though the necklace came with matching real pearl earrings.

Listen to Prince! He sang about “Diamonds and Pearls”, so it must be okay!

Really, I think it’ll look great!

Miss Strawberry! You are a dangerous, dangerous influence. I love this website - thanks so much for sharing! And I love the bracelet and the earrings. It’s not like your wrist is right next to your ears anyways!!

Take some practice photos. Diamonds (or fake ones) can really disappear in photos (stud earrings can look like dark spots), but pearls tend to show more.

D’oh! I wish I’d found this website sooner! I’m getting married one week from today and they have the bridesmaid set I’ve been searching for for months!

Yes, diamonds and pearls totally go. Well, as long as the pieces themselves work well together……

This post title made me laugh out loud!

Try ‘em on together, check out the pics, and if you love it, go for it!

I heart CDL! I got earrings for myself and my MOH, and she custom made hair pins for me. They were perfect.

You can absolutely mix them. For proof, just look at some of the pearl pieces you posted - they have diamond accents! Go with what makes you feel good, and you’ll look fabulous!

you could also ask them to make chandeliers with both pearls & rhinestones?

I vote yes. My fiance found a beautiful pearl and diamond necklace at Tiffany that he wanted to buy me - until we found out that it’s $23,000! (It’s their Aria necklace, btw - the bracelet is “only” $11,000.)

I don’t know about any of this stuff, but can I just say that I can’t WAIT to see your dress? (I’m sort of obsessed with it ever since you posted a pic of it). So, yeah. Diamonds and pearls, baby!

I was pleased to read everyone’s comments on wearing diamonds and pearls together. I have a wedding coming up and wanted to wear my new diamond drop earrings, and thought I’d have to buy a necklace to go with it, but that’s an expensive proposition. I have a pearl pendant with a tiny diamond and a pearl and diamond ring. I’ll wear them together. Thanks.
