Looking out for my hubby from the pool deck of the W Hotel
He FINALLY arrives…..
One of the many snafus that occurred on the week of the wedding - the limo driver (the girl featured here, another interesting thing - check out her outfit - I thought, seriously?! Perhaps I’m being a bit OCD/Bridezilla here, but does that outfit look professional to you? Note, her midriff was showing, although you can’t really see it here) was apparently locked out of the garage where the limos were stored. She tried to “break in” through an open window, but a neighbor saw her and called the police. After a long chit chat, an explanation to the police, and a phone call to the owner of the business, she FINALLY came to pick up the boys - and of course, they got stuck in rush hour traffic heading into downtown Dallas. Anywhoo - on to the pictures.

Mrs. Plum — you look beautiful! How did you decide to see each other before the ceremony? I am in the middle of trying to make this decision for myself…. seeing each other beforehand seems like it will be the best thing for the nerves and the timeline, but that bit of traditional gal in me is still holding me back!
thanks Brooke - we resolved that by still having a “special moment” with the grand entrance down the stairs and all 
it was still meaningful and helps with picture taking time!
wow i cannot believe the limo fiasco. i would’ve been panicking! and i agree that the limo driver is NOT appropriately dressed.
mrs plum, when i glanced at that first picture i thought it was someone posting a picture from a magazine of a model in their wedding dress. you look so amazing!! that dress was truly made for you!!!
Love the pictures, especially the one with you coming down the stairs. I think the driver should’ve stepped aside so it was just the guys and the limo. What a crazy story, but at least you’ll have something to laugh at when you’re 80 and sitting on the porch in rocking chairs.

Again, just simply gorgeous!
This is the first time I’ve seen a couple do the pictures before the wedding…and it’s reassured me that I’m doing the right thing. A lot of people are confused that we’ve decided to take pictures, but like you said - a special moment is a special moment. A good photographer will know how to set that up, regardless of when it happens.
