I feel like it would be a good idea if you were in a rush to find one, but I would hate any vendors calling me unsolicated, lord knows how many calls you would get!
They don’t request any telephone numbers so there won’t be any unsolicited phone calls from vendors. They contact you through email only if you’re interested. -)
I just signed up, but there don’t seem to be many European photographers - sniff (I’m in Switzerland). Otherwise I received loads of propositions from photographers who’d LOVE a ticket to Europe which i obviously can’t afford…
