Accessories Make the Woman

July 25th, 2007 @ 11:55 am by Mrs. Licorice

At the beginning of the summer, I had realized I gained a lot of weight over the course of the semester. Unfortunately, this meant that I could not fit into my bridal gown. In order to perk up my spirits, I diverted my attention to other lacy, ivory things:

I got this puppy on sale from Moo Roo, a Charleston store with lots of sass and style. The blue lining makes it even more appealing. The bag originally retailed for $400, and I didn’t pay even 1/4 of that. Score! I first found Moo Roo through a Charleston Weddings magazine pictorial:

Excuse me while I wipe the drool from my chin.

There are still some unabashedly feminine options left during Moo Roo’s Secret Stash Sale, perfect for a night out or the big day. And here’s what I love most about handbags; they make you look fabulously stylish without having to squeeze into them.

Shoes and purses always fit! I’m on the website now, credit card in hand - VERY purty bags. Thanks for the reference.

Your bag is by far my favorite of these, sooo cute! It’s probably a good thing that a) my wedding’s over and b) they no longer have yours on the site. :-)

Ohh so pretty.

Too bad Moo Roo is gone- I heart her bags! I know Mary Norton will be a wonderful line too- but I miss the tiny little shop on Kings Street. So nice to meet another Moo Roo fan.
