We are both fresh out of college and funds are tight, so we didn’t think we would have a honeymoon (we got married June 15) at this time. We have been planning to go on a large trip for our first anniversary. However, his parents surprised us at the rehearsal dinner with our wedding gift: an all-expense paid trip to Colorado over Labor Day weekend. It’s not too far from home in Kansas but it will be a much enjoyed get away.

Just came back from heaven a.k.a Tahiti/Bora Bora~!
I’ve never planned a big trip before so I certainly didn’t want to do it while planning a wedding. Therefore, I’ve booked us for a short idyllic getaway at Niagara-on-the-Lake. Not too far away for us. We’re bringing our bikes (my fabulous bike was a gift from my fiance) and we’ll stay at a bed and breakfast recommended by friends, catch a few shows at the Shaw Festival, take the bikes out on trails, enjoy some local wine and indulgent meals and as well as some time set aside to tool around the falls, including a helicopter tour over the falls.
The Royal in Playa Del Carmen! We’re divers so we can’t WAIT to dive the cenotes and the reefs in Cozumel!
We’re still deciding. Thinking France or Italy. I would love Greece. We’ll see what I can swing…
