About Mrs. Licorice

Low Country Syle

July 28th, 2007 @ 1:30 pm by Mrs. Licorice

I love living in the South. I love the traditions, accent, balmy weather, you name it! My favorite places are Atlanta (naturally), Savannah, and Charleston. I originally wanted a destination wedding in Charleston. I’ve only visited once, but I instantly fell in love with the architecture and charm of this city.

Imagine my surprise and wonderment when I discovered their regional wedding magazine. The cover nearly produced a whiplash-like reaction in my neck:

Low Country Syle : wedding magazines Cwfallw Charleston Weddings Magazine Fall-Winter 2006

How pretty is that? Don’t you just want to grab that parasol and sip a cool glass of sweet iced tea?

I snatched up the issue and began devouring every last tid-bit inside. Unfortunately, I have not seen a hard copy of Charleston Weddings since that fateful day at the grocery store. Fortunately, there is an awesome website complete with bridal fashion blog. The ideas found on this website can be used to plan a charming wedding anywhere.

Nice! If you like southern wedding style, have you seen the book ‘Southern Weddings’ by Tara Guerard? It is beautiful and inspiring.
