With This Ring (Pillow)

July 29th, 2007 @ 10:27 am by Mrs. Strawberry

I’m kicking myself that I never learned to sew. If I had, I’m certain I could create the ultimate ring pillow without breaking the bank. The pillows at Wedding Tulle would certainly have been my inspiration. Made from materials like felt and suede, these little squares are far from boring.

I’ve never used a sewing machine, but the good old needle-and-thread method seems to work just as well for me :)

I’d suggest looking somewhere like TJ Maxx or Ross to find a decorative pillow. Something cute with a little brooch added for flair is all you really need.

I saw a cute Martha idea of using a vintage hanky — either turning it into a pillow (well, sew 2 together like a pillowcase, then turn inside out), or stitching one on top of a plain pillow.
