Today we’re giving away a premium package from LifeOnRecord, a new service which allows your guests to create an audio keepsake for your wedding. (Read a full description of the service below.) To win, just leave a comment using the words “life”, “on”, or “record”! Contest ends 8:00 pm Tuesday.

Here’s how LifeOnRecord works:
- A toll free number is set up that you can distribute to your guests by way of save-the-dates, invitations, wedding website, etc.
- Your friends, family, and guests call the number and hear a short welcome message from you and your fiance. They can then record their thoughts, memories, and well-wishes for the bride and groom. For instance, you’ll hear your best friend talk about how she felt when you asked her to be your MOH, or your FI’s parents describe meeting you.
- All the messages are then recorded and sent to you on a CD. The recording is mp3 and iTunes compatible, and can even be podcasted!
The package we’re giving away includes a toll-free number (active for a year with no guest limit), three keepsake CDs, a 180 day full service subscription to the LifeOnRecord personal journal for the couple (send verbal love notes to your husband-to-be!), and the ability to playback recordings via telephone, email, and internet–or even download them into iTunes!

This would be a nice touch to add the pre-RECORDed messages to a video montage of the wedding, ON the most special day of my LIFE.

This is a great idea! I would love to do this and get our friends and family ON RECORD, even though we just had our wedding.

This would be great for all of my fiance’s family from South America that will be unable to make our wedding.
I used to have this record: “Sesame Street Fever”. It was the love of my life, until I met Mr. Kiwi, that is.
Not everyone that attends a wedding wants to have a camera pushed in their face, but most guests would love to have something on record for the happy couple.

This is awesome! I’ve always loved family history and record keeping and the thought of my grandchildren being able to listen to this someday is great.

Do we just need to use one of them? I’ll put in a random fact here and tell you that the first record I ever bought was The Righteous Brothers. (I’m only 25, but my parents had a record player for years, so that’s what we bought.)

my first record was Kiss - Destroyer. I bought it because there was a man on the cover who had his face painted like a cat.
