The Glass Slipper

July 31st, 2007 @ 4:58 pm by Mrs. Licorice

My long, arduous search for the perfect wedding shoe has come to an end. After checking out several boutiques in Florida while visiting a bridesmaid, I was ready to call it quits. As I drove back home through Atlanta, I decided to stop by Lenox Square Mall to give it one more try. Luckily, the Stuart Weitzman and Kate Spade stores are right across the hall from one another. I received excellent customer service from both stores! I love these Stuart Weitzmans, but unfortunately, they are too high. I know I can’t manage a 4″ heel for several hours!

Noelle at Kate Spade showed me a few of the newest styles including Gwen. The one that worked best for my dress was Gina. This pair is perfect; the heel is a great height, and I live for peep-toe shoes.

I love ’em, I love ’em, I love ’em! I’m really happy with the service at Kate Spade, too.

And since I feel they deserve a photo shoot, here they are:

What do y’all think?

I’m so excited that I found them. At first, I felt that I had to have a delicate, romantic look to make my lacy dress work. Now, I think I can style it to be a bit edgier, which is so much more me. Now all I have to do is find the perfect head piece. More on that soon!

Love it! I also have kate spade shoes. I got the Karolina and they are so elegant and comfortable given the height of the shoes. I’m also thinking of getting the matching wedding adelaide clutch:)

Congrats on finding such great shoes. I always end up at Stuart Weitzman because I wear an odd size and Kate Spade shoes don’t fit. Very classic wonderful shoes.

LOVE them! I have the exact same pair, so of course I love them. The girl at Kate Spade even suggested having them dyed black after the wedding, which I am considering.

Now, did you happen to see the adorable Kate Spade clutch that perfectly matches the shoes? ;)

Reminder to break in the peep-toes. They always always seem to rub the toes along the toe hole.

Cute cute cute!! I love both the SW and the Gina. I actually think the Gina looks a lot better than the Gwen.
