I got my proofs from my Tony Yang “intime” session a few days ago. I thought I’d share just a few teasers before I pick 10 for him to post process.

Wow! You look fantastic. I had previously posted that after reading about Tony on one of your blogs, I scheduled my own session with him as a gift to my fiance for our wedding! I am slightly nervous but very excited! Any advice? Did you bring a friend? Did you give Tony some ideas of what you were looking for? Thanks! I am sure Mr. Onion is going to love this!

You look stunning…I just sent him a request to see if he can fit me in between now and 9/8. I have been toying with this idea as my gift for so long but didn’t know how to go about finding someone that I could trust, both with the images and with my toosh 
I figured it would be best to find someone who could recommend someone, but then I felt weird asking my friends who I know have never done this!!

One more question…did you prepare before going in? i.e. did you do your hair and makeup and get a mani/pedi? Or did you just go as-is and they took care of you there?

miss corn — to answer your questions:
i prepared before i arrived. tony is really busy (booked every weekend until 2008) so he could only accommodate on a week night after work. that meant that natural light was precious and we shoot from 7-9 PM so i couldn’t waste any time.
i actually had my make-up done at a MAC counter (posted as my 2nd make-up “trial”) that morning and just left it on. my hair i happened to have trimmed that day so i just had the stylist blow dry it out. and i got a mani/pedi the day before. his studio is in hoboken, nj, but if you do come — let me know!! ps. we’re date twins!
Anyone know any photographers that do this sort of thing closer to the Philly/S. Jersey area?
Laura Tony is a friend of mine and lives in NJ so it wouldnt be a problem to work with himif you wanted to =)
