This entry contains sensitive information about Mr. Petunia’s gift. Therefore, his nosy self should excuse himself from reading it.

Mr. Petunia and I are gaming machines.

We own a PS1 (yes, still, and actually, an old Nintento, too), a PS2, a Gamecube, a Wii, two DS’s, and 50+ board games. Never mind the number of Magic cards and decks of other non-uber nerd playing cards.

We possess 4 computers and regularly play World of Warcraft on at least 2 of them. He almost - a l m o s t - proposed in-game (that is, before some common sense kicked in).

Part of our game board bevy is comprised of 12 Monopoly’s. Scooby-Doo Monopoly: check! Family Guy Monopoly, Muppets Monopoly: check, check!

So as soon as I found these Monopoly cuff links online, I turned on the Water Works of joy, went directly to Go! and gladly paid my Luxury Tax of $125. I had found my groom’s wedding gift!

Have you seen the make your own “Opoly” game? It would be a perfect first Christmas or Valentine’s day post wedding gift. It would be a fun addition to your game collection.

Those are adorable!

You sound just like me & my Mr. We’re gamer nerds too :)

But we’re just nerds in general- in fact I wanted to get him some cufflinks as a wedding gift and I found some *awesome* Dr. Who themed ones- I think I’ll get him the daleks ;) I almost screamed when I found them online, he’s a major Dr Who fan.

Glad you found something so perfect! It’s a great feeling :)

Very cool! I hope I can find my FI a gift that appropriate, too! Good find!

FI & I are gamers as well. Him moreso than me, but I’m definitely into it. We own a ps2, ps3, a wii, two ds lites, a sega genesis, a sega saturn, a sega dreamcast xbox 360, an original nintendo, and a super nintendo. It’s a little over the top. If we ever get robbed, we’re screwed! :P

Do you want Cowboyopoly? I think that’s pretty state specific… Oklahoma State fans, anyone? Yeah, I wouldn’t buy the game, and I go to school here. Haha.
