Program Template

August 9th, 2007 @ 2:25 pm by Mrs. Corn

Wow…I had no. idea. so many of you would want the template to the programs I made. Of course, that should make sense, considering how long I fruitlessly searched for something to help me. :) Fortunately, my sister, who is a minister (and who is conducting our ceremony) sent me the order of the service, so I was able to go from that. Then I may-or-may-not have stolen bits and pieces off of random sites along the way (hey, at least I admit it).

Here are two links for you to download the program file. The first is in Word and the second is in PDF. This way, if you don’t have the same fonts that I have, you can at least see what the program should look like and go from there.

The script font is AmazoneBT and the wide caps are Graverplate (similar to Copperplate). The font I used for the text of the reading is Bookman Old Style.

Thank you so very much for the templates:) I am going to sound like a complete loser..as I am totally clueless when it comes to doing things like this…SO PLEASE DON’T JUDGE..HEHEHEHE….The word formatted one..after changing fonts and what not (cheating from you)….after printing…basically I just have to assemble??? Like it will print..I fold and make pretty…and I’m done…Sorry to everyone I know I sound so stupid asking this:) You just made my life so much easier:)

Delinda,

we would NEVER judge you here! All I did was print and assemble.

The only thing I can think of that you may have issues with is that you may have to set up the exact paper size for your printer. You can do that in the print settings. Play around with whether you should print in landscape or portrait using scrap paper first.

Pages 3 & 4 are printed back to back so that when they are folded, they face the correct way.

I scored the programs with my trusty Fiskars 12″ paper cutter (I posted about that here: http://www.weddingbee.com/tag/scrapbook)

Don’t hesitate to ask more questions if you need to!

I’m confused by this whole program thing too.. did you turn the pages over in the printer so that they were printed on both sides/

10.
Miss Corn says:

No worries, AG. Page three and four were printed back to back. Some printers do this for you, my printer does not, so I printed all pages on one side and then flipped them around and printed the other side.

My program didn’t have anything on the inside of the cover nor on the back of the cover, so the 2nd page (or the page that would have printed on the ‘back’ of page one, was left blank and therefore did not need to go through the printer a second time.

Hope that clears it up.

L O V E this! THANKS so much for sharing. I’m totally inspired by you. Had to do some serious formatting on my mac for it to print correctly - but how wonderful! Where did you get the seashell image? I have a peach theme - would love to drop in little peaches there ;)

Hi, Just checking this out. The programs you made were absolutely wonderful! I really loved your design and thanks for posting the template,. Did you print them on 8.5*11 paper? and then cut them in half? What were the final dimensions? Thanks!

Mrs. Corn says:

Glad you like them, Meagan. I cut 12×12 sheets in half and then printed them. The final sheets that went through the printer were 12×6 and the final folded programs were 6×6.

Hope that helps!
