About Mrs. Gummi Bear

Lisa Must Be A Saint.

August 14th, 2007 @ 10:58 am by Mrs. Gummi Bear

Because the only person I know who can put up with my zooming in and nitpicking everything until it’s dead and bleeding is Mr. GB… and yet she was there, responsive and adjusting to every insane little detail that we wanted to change, or just see changed, and then change back, and then decide to weep over for a day, and then wake up and think “oh, actually, that’s perfect, I just had my 50 year old Korean woman brain in and thought it was fat”.

I took these photos when I was unpacking the box, so forgive the adorable ribbon that Paper Monkey Press used to tie them together. They gave us a ridiculous amount of extras, so we’re happy we have some to keep for ourselves and to, you know, feed to the puppies! We meant to do that.

Good on Paper also did our STDs, so you can see just how talented she is. The Gummibears give a firm YAY! to Lisa Wong Jackson and feel very lucky that she squeezed us into her already busy schedule. Both her and Paper Monkey Press are local to Oakland/Berkeley, so you may have a chance to meet her and her Boston Terrier, the softest pup ever. And not gassy, like ours… why has the spay suddenly made you so poopy? barftastic.

They are adorable!!! I’m also nosey…..why did you use “Together with her family…..” instead of “Together with their family…..”??? Is it because only your family is hosting/chipping in for the wedding??? Or am I totally off??? They are absolutely gorgeous!!!

Mar: :) you’re right, i’m footing most of the bill, but my parents contributed. It wasn’t going to mention anyone at all, and I’m sure my parents wouldn’t have noticed really - but I felt it was the best way to do it since we’re not having programs. My FILs may notice… but … you can’t argue fact, right? uhhh. cross fingers for me.

Hi Michelle!
I haven’t, but I also have been mildly lost in keeping track. Lisa’s design fee is separate from the cost of paper… which is separate from the letterpress fee. We’ll probably have a breakdown after the very last bits of letterpressing is done. :) If you must know immediately, then email me and I’ll send you something that shows at least the current batch!

So beautiful, I almost want to ditch my vision for invites and do something like this instead. Almost. But I won’t steal your idea :)

BEAUTIFUL!! They are the most clean, elegant, AND cute invitation sets I’ve ever seen!! :) Awesome! I love the double-sided rsvp’s!!!

And don’t worry about the “together with her parents” insert. I’ve seen that on invitations I’ve received before and I don’t think it really creates issues. :)

I too would love to know the cost break-down if possible! B/c I would really love to have a set of that quality as well!!
