So far my favor-ite has been the honey which we bought from a local beekeeper for our favors. I met the honey maker at a local farmer’s market and shipped the little jars directly to his factory. It has been fun, it was relatively cheap and I love being able to give my guests a sweet taste of SoCal!
My favor-ite purchase thus far has been the leather Lazyboy recliner I picked up for a wedding present to my FI. When he isn’t home, I snuggly up with the hound and sleep so sweetly!!

My ‘favor’ite purchase(s) are my OOT bags. Ours will be a hawaiian affair, and I wanted our guests to have things they can use while they’re soaking up the rays. I started with lauhala bags and filled them with hibiscus patterned beach towels, playing cards made with a reeeally cute vintage hawaiian postcard design, a couple bottles of local hawaiian beers and chocolate covered macademia nuts. I wish I got a bag too!
My favorite purchase has been the luxe white paper for my DIY invitations, purchased from the Paper Source. I know that paper really isnt a big deal, but every time I look at it, I smile knowing that it all starts with the invitations!
My first and only wedding purchase so far is a haute bride bracelet and necklace.

My favor-ite purchase has to be not only my dress, but the veil that goes with it. the veil is perfectly beaded with delicate little flowers. It was a little bit more than I was going to spend on one but I totally fell in love with it. Its ok because its been my only slurge so far!

My favorite was my accessories. I found a designer who made them all for me and it has been so wonderful working with him and his wife to make pieces for myself and my mother.

My favorite purchased item thus far is my dress. Before FH and I even picked a venue, I found my dress on ebay. I wasn’t even ready to buy a dress yet, but was just looking for inspirational pics. Then, I saw it. It was exactly the style I was looking for, and it was my size! It was even a couture gown, although discontinued, and because it was used as a sample dress at a store, I got it for less than $300. When I got it in the mail, I started to cry because it was even more beautiful than the pictures I’d seen. I have to use willpower not to wear it around the house all day! The funny thing is: we still don’t have a venue :).
Not really a purchase exactly, but our ceremony site… we hemmed and hawed for a long time and finally made the reservation, choosing a site that would allow all of our guests to attend, rather than the small, family-and-party event we were first planning. I’m so glad that everyone will be able to share the event with us.
My favor-ite purchase are my decorative lanterns for my ceremony site. Some have pink cherry blossoms, other have difffernt colored butterflies and still others have different colored flowers.

My favor-ite wedding purchase has been a hotel reservation at our honeymoon location. We’re spending a week and a half in Hawaii and decided to vacation on the cheap for the first week and splurge on our last two nights.
It makes us so happy to think about spending the tail end of our honeymoon in luxury!

my husband and i met while singing in acapella groups in college. i found pitch pipes made of chocolate (and covered in silver foil) for only $1 each so i decided it would make a nice secondary favor. i was so excited that they existed that i immediately ordered them… imagine my surprise when they arrived and turned out to be as big as my hand!! everyone loved them and they were delicious!
My favorite purchase was a caricature drawing which was done of the both of us. So cute…I love looking at it to this day!

My favor-ite were the 2 custom double-sided photo charms for my bouquet. I had 1 made with a photo of my late father and the words the “I love you” scanned from a letter he wrote me as a child. The other was a photo of my late grandfather and a photo of the 2 of us when I was a child. Even though I walked down the aisle by myself…I still felt like they were there with me in spirit as I clasp my bouquet. I will treasure those charms forever!

My favorite purchase has been The Three Waiters as a surprise for my fiance and my mother. We took them to a bridal show with us when we first got engaged. They saw these singers break into operatic songs and were totally amazed by the talent. It is a real splurge, but just knowing how happy its going to make our mothers makes it the best purchase we can make for this wedding.

My dress! Three’s a charm. It was my dream dress but I never thought I could afford it but I found it and I know both my dad and my fiance will cry when they see it. It’s so romantic and “me” They will one day have to bury me in it because I don’t think I can bear to be parted from it. I hope I never have to choose between my dress and my fiance….
