Something old…

My great-great-grandmother’s diamond necklace, from the 1870’s.
Something new…

Earrings from Mr. Bluebell the morning of the wedding. Plus, you know, dress, veil, etc…
Something borrowed…

Yeah, that same necklace again. My grandmother left it to all four of her daughters equally, so I borrowed it from my mom and three aunts.

This is a blue crystal earring that my grandmother wore to her first formal dance as a young woman. It’s pretty worthless monetarily, not to mention missing half the crystals, but my mom always remembered her talking about how proud she was to wear something so elegant and how beautiful they made her feel, so I attached one to my bouquet in honor of her. (In the second picture, they’re lying on another something old - a purse that belonged to my grandmother in the 1950s.)
