Icons Oh My!

Thanks for your suggestions on our “Real Weddings” icon last week! We loved hellokittyispretty’s idea of the “Just Married” sign, so we had our wonderfully talented artist Irene whip something up. We were worried that the “Just Married” might be hard to see because of the size the icon needed to be, so Irene came up with the idea of adding cans and using a simpler sign. They’re all so pretty, we need your help deciding which one to use! You can see larger versions here.
We also had a Miss Monkey character made awhile back. Right now the simple one with one flower is loaded, but which one do you like best?

how adorable is that ms. monkey! i like the one with the veil best… just makes sense to me. but the others are equally cute!
and i like the first one on the right column, with the people and the Just Married sign. i know it’s small and rather hard to see, but i think it gets the point across better. maybe you can add a veil to the lady?

And for the real weddings icon - 1st line, far right. I like that it doesn’t have cans…the cans adds to the clutter when it is small.
I also like the top right “Just Married” icon (since it has a heart with it too!). As for the cute monkey, I like the one with the single flower or tiara. Irene is so talented, and I love all of the pictures she’s come up with!
you know, i was thinking about a ms. monkey after i saw mr. monkey’s post with his icon earlier - was it me or did it start off with no bow tie? man - i would have been stuck btwn cherry blossom and ms. monkey if that was available bc as you can tell from my previous post, our nicknames for each other are monkee. =) either way, i love em both!
it’s a toss up btwn with the veil and the tiara. the other two seem more for a flower girl??? ( really though i love all four of them )
of the just married ones - i like the mini version of the large one and i like aoedorothee’s idea of adding a veil. =)
i like the monkey with one flower. the rest of the bees don’t have wedding stuff, so i think it’s odd to have one with a veil.
real weddings - cans. heart license. couple in convertible. (number 6 of the small ones - last one second row) just married is too hard to read. the heart says the same message esp. with cans, and the couple. too perfect!
I agree with mrs. Bird of Paradise. The monkey with the one flower and love #6 of the small car icons.
I like the one with the Tiara–the little flower is kind of hard to spot and the circlet looks too much like a flower girl 
I’m torn between the monkey with the veil and the one with the tiara…
As for the Real Weddings Icon, I like the one with the people, the fully written out sign and the cans!
lol yes the mr. monkey didn’t have a bow tie. i just switched the character because it was too cute.
the real weddings icon - i really like the one with a heart with the silhouettes and the cans.
i would LOVE to be miss monkey!!! if only i were engaged…
oops i should have changed the order of the first row of cars so that it matches the ones below it. oh well i had to stop by the pet store before it closed to buy some cat food.
I say the one in the last row…first car. I think you should leave the silhouettes out since marriage is not just between a man and a woman.
I agree, I like the simple Miss Monkey, with just the flower (one on the right).
I can’t decide between all the “real weddings” icon! I like the cans, either 2nd row, left (”Just Married” license) or right (heart license).
About the cars:
1) I love that the bride is driving (assuming a US car),
2) Why is the car crooked and leaning down dramatically on the bride’s side — her wedding gown is so heavy?
i like the simple miss monkey, to match the other bees.
as for the car, i like the one with the bride and groom in it with “just married” on the back with the heart.
i like the third car on top. and i like the miss monkey with the little flowers in her hair. =)
i like the upper right, but Joanne makes a very good point about gender so I agree with her about leaving the silhouettes out.
for the car, I like the enlarged one you have up there but agree about keeping the gender out of it, therefore I gotta go with the bottom left

I like the Just Married icon with the couple, just married sign (spelled out), and the bottles trailing the car…and I like Miss Monkey icon #1 (with the veil)
Oh my goodness. I looooove the miss monkey - all of them!!! Hypothetically (of course) how much would one have to bribe the queen Bee to get to be Miss Monkey???
Isn’t Ms. Monkey already taken? I know she posted under Mr. Monkey’s name before- it was confusing. Mr. Monkey is really funny. He should post more often.

The car icon has to be one with te shadows of the couple, otherwise it’s just an empty car… I like the heart and the cans. Can’t decide. I also like the Just Married and the Heart license plate. But, I.m not a fan of the JM. Too much like someone’s initials.
I prefer the monkey with the single flower.
I like the RW with the couple, cans, and heart plates. Really says it all. As for the gender issue, while I totally support any GLBT endeavors, I think the couple is fine - it doesn’t mean a post about a hetero couple any more than the other icons indicate musings from insects, flowers and food!
I agree with Joann on the silhouettes. I do like the cans though… I think I like the very bottom leftthe best. But maybe with the cute little heart from the top row as well.

As for the car:
With silhouettes. I think they might be just vague enough that they’re pretty close to being ungendered in the far-away version.
With the Just Married sign. If I had to pick second choice, with the heart. JM does look like random initials.
No cans - I like it plain.
And I love the little bitty heart.
I love the monkey with one flower, for the same reason BOP suggested. Too many flowers is too busy. I actually like the just married sign with the cans, the second from the top, far left. I like the cans I guess!

Just married: two people, heart license plate, no heart on top (second row far right).
I actually like the monkey-with-flower, but veil makes sense to me too.
