Chocolate SOS Continued

August 22nd, 2007 @ 6:13 pm by Mrs. Emerald

Thanks for all your helpful suggestions, everyone! In the end, convenience and peace-of- mind won out. I ordered 6 lbs (approximately 240) of the mini dark chocolate Eiffel Towers from Chocolate Fantasies (thanks tofu!)

Apparently I was a little ambitious in this project, and am humbled by chocolate-makers everywhere! These Eiffels are a tad smaller than my original ones (3 inches tall, versus 4 inches tall, and only 2 inches wide), so I will probably need to get new cellophane bags otherwise they will look tiny, but that is the least of my worries at this point! And I will still use my cute little red tags that we painstakingly made (more details on that another time!)

Let me just say that the owner of Chocolate Fantasies was absolutely lovely! I emailed her with an urgent email asking if they could make these in bulk for me in the next 2 weeks, and she responded promptly that they absolutely could. I will have to do another review when the chocolates arrive next week.

*PHEW* One helluva huge task off my back!! pleased013

That’s great Emerald, the less you personally have to do, the better! I love white chocolate.
