August 22nd, 2007 @ 4:45 pm by Mrs. Cherry Blossom

I was blindly surfing the net for orchids and came across this website that ships fresh flowers to you at a very affordable rate!

Check out - Fifty Flowers for awesome deals! 6,000 Fresh petals, that’s right fresh, for only $139.99! This would definitely be an affordable option to decorate and make a lush aisle pathway. shy03 Not just that - it’s, get this … FREE SHIPPING on ALL ORDERS!!!!!!!!

If you have plan on doing your own bouquets as well (if you have a big team of people helping you put it together), here are more affordable flowers that you can have shipped directly to you a few days prior to your wedding:

100 Peonies for $399.99 or $599.99 depending on the month.

Or how about Hydrangeas?

Or - Calla Lillies

Or Orchids?

I’ve been trying to find reviews on this website? Anyone else use this website before?

Thats funny, I just placed my order for the 12,000 petal package last week from Fifty Flowers!! They mentioned that they all come in one box though, so I’m slightly dubious about how much 12,000 petals actually is… It sounds like a great deal though! Heh, but I will post a review in a few weeks!!

I’ve heard great things about that site. I’ve had two friends use them and had great success. We were going to use them but i just couldn’t take on any more projects. My other friend used

and

Good luck!

One other thought about flower petals that I’ve seen is that you can buy fresh carnations and make your own flower petals from them. If you cut them right at the base of the head of the bloom, it will separate all of the petals, so that in one or two quick cuts, you have the petals of each flower. It takes about two dozen to completely cover a 30″ round table (typically used for wedding cakes).

You can cut the petals the day before the wedding and store them in an airtight container in the fridge.

Anyone know how many petals you usually need for the aisle? Is 6,000 a lot?

Hi Ladies,

I actualy helped to launch this website when I lived in Ecuador, from design basics to copywriting visiting the flower farms and teaching them how to package our products. This is a great company, don’t be shy about ordering from here — they’ll come through!

NONONONONONO!!!!

I GOT THE WORST, WORST, WORST HYDRANGEAS FROM FIFTY FLOWERS!!!

I spent $200 and they were supposed to be full beautiful blue bunches, and I got pathetic, wimpy, half closed, wilted, sorry excuses for stems.

To replace those POS excuses for flowers, we went to a few local nurseries and bought potted hydrangeas and cut off their flowers.

I vehemently can not recommend the quality of the flowers I got from Fifty Flowers.
