About Mrs. Cherry Blossom

I began randomly shopping for shoes…. even though I have no dress. Nothing wrong with that. I Ain't Got No Dress, But Gosh Darn It, I Got Shoes! : wedding san francisco shoes Pleased014 pleased014

Meet Grace “Crystal” Shoes - $130.00. Oh how I love thee. But girl you expensive!

I really didn’t want to spend more than $100 on shoes although these are so pretty and would be gorgeous with any dress. BUT they’re a bit on the high side. I have to last all of two days in them. * sigh * I saw them in person and they do not disappoint. I wanted to caress them. Hahaha.

Then on Piper Lime, I came across these other beauties that so reminded of my other love.

Kate Spade ” Lover ” shoe at a whopping $275.00

Elegant, sexy, sleek and clean. Again too high at 3.5 inches and waaaaay out of my budget.

So step in …. Nina “Hanne”

At $80.00 with a 2.5 inch heel, it’s almost perfect! I was soooo in love with them and ready to purchase them - although I have to really admit, the backing on the ankle was not that sexy to me but the rest of it is PLUS PLUS PLUS.

Anyway, step in my savior *DUN DUN DUN* Bertie to the rescue. I showed her my Kate Spade and Nina inspiration and BAM! this is what she finds me!

OOOOooohh yeah Kenneth Cole baby…. come to mama. In silver satin, that’s right, *DROOOL* and at $78.95! Looks exactly like the Kate Spade one right? Right?!

Bertie - love ya. Thank you! You f’n ROCK!

Meet my wedding shoes ….

Looooove the awesome detail on the bottom of the shoe

Excuse the “cankles” and my chipped toenails. These are a size 6.5 and snug. I might just try on the 7 at the store to see how much more loose they are. I’d prefer for them to be snug, but comfortable and not gushing my meat on the sides, so I don’t have to worry about having to adjust it since it is a slingback. You likee? Me likee a LOT!

So pretty!

I’m definitely struggling with finding the right shoes — I need flats!

Kenneth Cole Reaction shoes always end up being my favorites of every season — I just recently noticed this trend. Always comfy, always last forever, and never give me blisters even on the first few wears! Your new ones are lovely :-)

Awesome! I bought my shoes before my dress too, and now that I see them together, I’m mildly disappointed that the dress is slightly whiter than the shoes. But I LOVE the shoes and I kind of think people won’t be looking at my feet closely enough to tell.

Take your shoes with you when you go dress shopping so you don’t make the same mistake…

I loved those Grace shoes, too, though not sure if they come in ivory and not just white.

I’m dreading the shoe decision…

Jen - they are silver indeed - funny bc when I was looking at it on my feet in the last photo, it can kind of pass for shiny white no? =)

aoedorothee - here is a link of retailers that carry the grace shoe line: http://www.gracefootwear.com/stores.html

if you’re interested in purchasing them online (i tried to find them cheaper, but no luck, hope you get a better deal!): http://www.myglassslipper.com/products2.cfm/dept/SHOES/ID/3202

haha, I am in the club of buying the shoes before the dress. Most dresses are all about the same shade of ivory/ white right? It turns out my dress is almost the same color fabric as my shoes and I love em!

Do you know if the Grace Crystal shoes are comfy? I was eyeing those but I don’t know if my feet can take the pain of high heels!

“Crystal” is very comfy! I’ve taken 2 dance lessons in them already :) No problemo for me! I may add some foot petals though, just in case. But the height isn’t really that bad, and I’m a shortie at 5′1, but with “crystal” im like 5′4ish

I love me some Kenneth Cole. Both his standard Kenneth Cole line, and unlisted AND tribeca.. I have some of all of them.. :D (me.. shoe fiend.. noooooo) I always find them VERY comfortable. Yet to buy a pair that aren’t comfortable and sturdy. Love ya KC! :P

Ok, I love those Kenneth Cole ones. Even if I don’t end up wearing them w/my dress since I haven’t bought one yet, they are still very very cute. Where did you find them?

on amazon.com, the ‘grace’ shoes are selling for $100. other online retailers are selling them for $145. so, amazon has the better deal overall unless you get a used pair on ebay.

Hi Ms. Cherry Blossom.
What size shoe are you? I bought those shoes by Grace. I loved them too, but they made me taller than my fiance!! So, I still have them, and I’m sitll not sure what I’m going to do with them. They’ve never been worn and they’re still wrapped. They’re size 8 1/2. I’m willing to sell them for as low as $65. If you’re interested, or if you know someone that would be, just let me know.
