So Many Ways To Say Thank You!

August 24th, 2007 @ 12:16 pm by Mrs. Bell Pepper

I’m slowly writing out our thank you cards and making a few special ones for our close family members and for the ones who couldn’t make it out to Philadelphia. I purchased some specialty japanese paper at Amoeba Art Shop and chocolate colored scalloped cards from Allegheny Art Company in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. I printed out a few photos and cropped them to the appropriate size for the card. I stamped and embossed “Merci” on leftover pieces of gold paper from our wedding programs.

I experimented with this purple and gold design, but I think I prefer the red and gold design more.

To make our thank you cards a little more special, I added stamps we bought during our honeymoon in Paris.

For some of the thank you cards, I added another photo to the inner envelope and stamped “Bonjour” in gold.

I created about 10 of these cards and I just can’t make anymore of the same design. Perhaps I have a touch of ADHD or something, I just can’t work like an assembly line anymore! I plan to create a few more using my gocco kit in a few days…

I was about to say “wow those are stunning mrs. bell pepper” — then I saw Miss Petunia’s response! Too funny, but I still say “WOW!”

And I love the d’orsay stamps too. That was my favorite place in all of Paris. I hope to travel there with my (soon to be) husband someday. I went with my father as a high school graduation gift for spring break my 1st year of college. It was a wonderful experience.
