Back in August, I blogged about my family’s strange disinterest in my wedding, including my cousin, who didn’t RSVP, but sent me a wedding invitation in the interim.
After receiving bizarre, bitchy messages from his beebee fiancee today claiming that I “bashed” my cousin in that blog post, I will amend the blog to say that about 5 days after I posted that message, we received a gift from him.
Because naturally, my love can be bought.

Amie, according to Urban Dictionary, a beebee is “A childish adult; one who behaves in an infantile manner whether he/she is 18 or 118.”
She was basically throwing a fit over email because I “bashed” him in saying that he sent his wedding invites out, but never bothered to RSVP to our wedding. Whatevs to that.

But just wondering, wouldn’t the cousin’s fiance also read this post and act more like a “beebee.” There will probably be no appeasing her.
Blasphemy, I know. . . she doesn’t read Weddingbee and doesn’t know what “beebee” means. But you’re right, there is no appeasing her. I tried reasoning with her and telling her we appreciated the gift, we understood they couldn’t make it, and that the original blog entry wasn’t written as a judgment of her character, just a statement of fact. Each time I tried to smooth over the situation, it was met by more fire.
Incidently, this entry was written out of frustration with the situation. After she sent me a bunch of messages, including saying that I should send back the gift if it wasn’t appreciated (which I never said), she emailed a bunch of my family members to talk smack about me.
This is why each person should deal with their own family!
