Every Self-Respecting Jet Setter

…knows that a luggage tag is the most powerful traveling accessory. That’s how one description for a luggage tag reads.

Mrs. Bee already blogged about luggage tags back in March 2006, but I thought enough time may have passed to bring them up again! Also, I thought of them more for their practical use than as a favor or STD idea, though some of these may work that way, too! :)

I’ve always loved luggage tags; they’re a great way to express yourself and, with so many people traveling with the same black/grey/brown bags, they make your bags easily recognizable, thereby insuring you take the right bag back to your swanky honeymoon hotel and not some grandma’s needlepoint and waist-high panties.

Consider all these different styles!

Flash your new last name initial if you’re changing your name with these tags from p-b travel, or get them in both your first names’ initials

Anyone heading out to my home state of Florida? Rock the flamingo with these tags from Uptown Flamingo

For computer geeks, there’s this set of 3 tags available at Cyberguys.com

For you dog lovers, check these out from The Haute Hound

And these are disposable luggage tags from The Spoon Sisters, for you sassy girls

I bought that last set (The Spoon Sisters) for my best friend who travels very often for work. She said that she catches her fellow travelers reading them and smiling. Hehe!

We are making luggage tags for our STDs since we are doing a destination wedding. We thought it would be a cute way to ask everyone to pack their bags and travel with us. We are still working on a date- so they are not yet made! But i think it would be really cute that our friends that don’t know eachother could actually meet on the way to the event- if they use the tags!
