Foot Petals…aahhh!

August 30th, 2007 @ 4:43 pm by Mrs. Onion

I am a shoe girl, but also hate being in pain. Because I’m a short dress bride and everyone will see my shoes, it was important to me that they were fabulous shoes.

Here are my Cynthia Rowley Shoes that I got on www.zappos.com.

BUT, I don’t want to have to take them off before we even get to the reception, so I’m going to get a pair of Foot Petals “Killer Kushionz .” I got a pair of their “Tip Toes” in a gift bag over a year ago and I love them.

Tip Toes

They are pretty reasonably priced — now I just have to find a way to get them here in time without paying $20+ for 2nd day shipping. I looked (ok, well I called) all over New York City to find a store that carried what I need to no avail. I think I’m just going to have to buy them anyway. I was also going to get the tip toes for my bridesmaids — one pair for each of them and buy the “triple pack” and save the money that way. Happy feet = happy girls!

Coupon Code: Also found a 20% off coupon until September 8th (my wedding day — yahoo). The code is: 498559. Enjoy walking on clouds — ok, not quite, but it’s better than nothing. :)

question for ya… are you planning to have a photographer take “details” pics of your shoes? if so, are you going to put in the foot petals before or after that? i would do it after, but i kind of want to try the pads out beforehand…

The website http://www.myglassslipper.com has all kind of comfort shoe inserts, including footpetals, and they also have a retail location in NY that sells them! 20 W. 22nd St, #614. You might call before to make sure they have exactly what you want - 212-627-0231.

Go to DSW-they have a very similar product . I prefer it because it is a translucent gel material so it is a little less obvious than the bright pink petal.

Hey Lindsey - it’s Robyn from the knot….they have them here in at a few stores in Burlington, VT! I bought about 5 different ones because I was unsure which ones I would need :) I also bought the ones to go on the the bottom of your shoes so you don’t slip…They really work wonders….although you have to be careful because they do make your shoes fit a little snugger…good luck :)

If I buy the 3 pack, will it come in 3 separate pouches so I can give them as gifts, or does it come in one pouch?

I finally got sick of achy feet and just loaded up on Hue Gelz, which are basically the same product, for $3 each on the Dillards website! They don’t have the full pads, but they have the clear pads for the base of the foot, the strips for strappy sandals, and the “spots” for blister areas. Just go to http://www.dillards.com and enter “gelz” in the search box on the home page.
