I saw this dress on the left randomly as I was surfing the net (if you know who the maker is please let me know, so I can give credit). The dress style is called Tulip and it sells for $295. But look what I already bought from Nordstrom - it’s so similar but I only paid $62!!! 
I like the mini sweetheart neckline on mine too.

My MOH and I took some pictures together to see how it looks with my gown. The bm dress’ neckline also complements/matches my wedding gown!
We tried it with a blue sash and a black one just to see (Those are not our actual choices but they were the only 2 ribbons we had lying around at the time). Please ignore the heavy wrinkles on the bottom of the bm dress. We were too lazy to iron it out. 
When I thought I was done with the bm dress, look what I found– a gorgeous BCBG dress. This floor length dress is in a flowy chiffon with a silk bow that makes it a bit more formal than the Nordie’s one. Excuse the excess length (I actually tiptoed as tall as I could 
), the dress will fall better after hemming.
So now it comes down between these 2 choices and I left it up to the BMs themselves to choose which ever one they like better/feel more comfortable in since I’m fine with both.

The long is more elegant!
I usually prefer short. This long one is very nice though. B/c you like both - I think they should go with the style they think they might be able to wear post-wedding, which I believe is the short. But both are good choices. GL!
i like long, but I had another question… my bridesmaids dresses are the same color! What flower/color choices are you having for your wedding? I’m having such a hard time finding flowers (besides white) that I can use!
I voted long - but it really had to do more with the overall look of the dress - not the length. I really do like the short ones though (perhaps more) but the reason I didn’t vote for them was because the ribbon looks a little funny - could just be the way you tied them that time they tried them on though 
i love the silhouette of the long! the empire waist is so flattering on all your ladies. 
what if you hemmed the long one to come to knee-length or tea length and had the best of both worlds?
I usually like short, but when I saw all of the BMs together, my vote would def be for the long. Where did you get those, btw?
I think the short one is MUCH cuter without the sash.

I actually really dislike floor length bridesmaid dresses, I think cocktail length ones look much more modern (not trendy - but just up-to-date with styles) and lend themselves much better to future use, if that is a concern for your girls. So my vote is for the short one.
But the long one is one of the nicest floor length BM dresses I’ve seen in awhile so I’m not as dead-set against it as I usually am with that length dress!
I find it hard to vote without knowing when and where the event will take place. (”When” meaning what time of day and year.) How formal is the function? Because while I love both dresses, I think the shorter ones would be a little better for a slightly less formal function, and the longer ones vice versa.
They’re both beautiful though, and I don’t think you can go wrong with either one!
is it going to be evening or day time? well, regardless, i think the long is more elegant and these days, it’s different from the many tea lengths that we see.
somehow i feel like the pic of the short one doesn’t do its justice. cuz the dress looks sooo much better on the first pic you posted (the one in which you were wearing the dress) than the ones below. the sash looks nicer on the long dress, and but the short one looks very nice without!
I too voted long. I just didnt think these short dresses were as flattering as the long ones. But I know sometimes pictures dont do a dress justice.
wow the first dress is GORGEOUS! do they still have it available because it’s def. a steal for the price! i think the 1st dress def. but without the sash.
I voted long because in most of the pictures, the short one looks so shiny. But in the first one (where you are wearing it) it looks fine.
i love the short dress without the sash in pic where youre wearing it… but in the rest of the pics the fabric looks flimsy & shiny which i dont really like. i voted for long but i would also vote short with no sash. plus you already have the dresses!
I voted long. The short dresses look too big on your gals, and they look happier in the pic with the long gowns on!
The long dress photographs better, because chiffon doesn’t reflect flash - as you saw the reflected flash brings out all imperfections (wrinkles) of the short dress. If everyone at the wedding were using cameras without flash, then it wouldn’t be an issue - but guests are guaranteed to take flash snapshots at indoor or evening weddings!

2. My wedding is 9/15/07 @ 4:30pm. Though the ceremony is outdoor, the reception is formal.
3. I do agree with “G” that the picture doesn’t do the short one justice. Cus the dress was heavily wrinkled and we kinda just slap the ribbon on with out adjusting it much. It is actually much prettier in person! =)
4. “Miss Caramel” I am using pink, green and white flowers for my BMs’ bouquet.
A big THNAK YOU for everyone who voted! It was a tough decision and a close one, but my BMs have decided to go with the BCBG one (long dress). ^__^

i really like the long ones. they look nicer.
if you have to shorten them anyhow. you should get them to tea length. that would look great and is more comfortable to dance/walk in.
For “moemarsita” and “Niki,” I got the BCBG dresses at a local BCBG outlet. They were 50% off from the original price too!
