Wood Inspiration

September 4th, 2007 @ 6:49 pm by Mrs. Bee

We loved these birch bark vases from Small Stump back in March of this year.  Since then, bark inspired decor has been popping up everywhere!

i love those pottery barn stump bowls on the left. i see handcrafted versions of them in the market in charleston, s.c., and i always want to buy one. i think they’re beautiful.

The chain of ABC stores in Hawaii has tons of attractive wood containers — cheap, too!

we used the pottery barn candles as our ring holder for the *passed ring warming*.
We just scooped the candle out after melting it some, then stuffed it with some pretty “stuffing” that we could pin the rings to.

We’re going to use the birch tubes to reuse the bridal party flowers on the head table. Now that I see the candles I think we’ll use them too, thanks!
