I’m not quite sure if I had mentioned it or not, but I bought another necklace for the wedding a few weeks ago at the local Tuesday farmer’s market, handmade!. I have been very bad about posting pics lately as I lost the USB cable to transfer the pictures. Of course, when I borrowed my dad’s cord, ours finally showed up.

After a year and a half of buying various “perfect!” necklaces, I have finally found the right one. Yes, Mr. Kiwi, I know I say that every time, but this time I mean it! It has all the qualities I was looking for: yellow gold, not too long or too short, a dainty filagree look, and matches my ensemble (In my head I’m saying, “ahn-sam”) perfectly.

A couple of things regarding this particular necklace were things I wasn’t looking for, but were even more perfect! For instance, the large briolette shaped swarovski crystal dangling from the chain- it’s a light amber color that matches the crystals in my headpiece. The chain is interspersed with small gold colored seed pearls, the color perfectly matches my headpiece AND my pearl studs I’m going to wear! There was no way I was going to walk away from this!

So, I snatched up the necklace and came home happy. Without further ado…

So, this necklace IS perfect, and I couldn’t be happier!! Mr. Kiwi has made me promise to not buy any more necklaces. I swear, I won’t!
