What a great link! Those are so beautiful, and the instructions are very clear and precise. Now I’m itching to replan my invite to include these, somehow… oooh. :)

Great. I was just thinking of getting into embossing for our Christmas cards. I am attending a craft party tonight as well.

I dry-embossed a small scallop shell on the front of my invitations and it tool a LONG time to do, but it was beautiful. I followed the instructions and it worked nicely- although I did have to buy a light table to do all 90 of them. Here’s the finished product:

Thanks for the recognition! My invites were a hit and I’m glad to hear that the DryEmbossingBio might be of help to some. I’m actually motivated to work on a long overdue update after seeing this! It was time-consuming to dry emboss 80 invites, but because bamboo was so significant to us (the 1st kanji character of my husband-to-be’s last name), I just knew I had to do it. I suppose this makes up for not folding the 1001 cranes! Thanks again! Happy Embossing!
