Vegas Bachelorette Party Tips

September 10th, 2007 @ 3:36 pm by Mrs. Caramel

If you or someone you know is planning to throw a bachelorette party in Vegas, here are some tips that might help you out:

- wearing matching tops or a funny veil always helps you get into clubs for free and skip the lines! People who work at clubs will assume that you’ll bring the party into the club.
- the Mandalay Bay Spa is a great place to bring the girls for a day at the spa. I am the Spa Girl, and I give Mandalay Bay’s spa a grade “A”! For just $30, you get an all day pass to beautiful hot tubs, minty smelling steam rooms, a dry sauna, and massages & facials if you decide to get one. However, keep in mind that weekends are supposed to be only for Mandalay Bay guests only, but if you call in ahead or ask really nicely they should just let you in.

- if you haven’t sat down and watched an entire Bellagio water show, you really should! A great location that no one really seems to know about is the Fontana Bar. You’ll need to go inside the Bellagio hotel and ask people where the Fontana Bar is, since it can be difficult to find. It’s a great place to sit and have drinks with your girlfriends with the BEST view of the Bellagio water show! Then you can just sit and take your time waiting for each water show.

If you’re not really into eating the famous buffets in Vegas like me, try the Terrace Pointe Cafe at the Wynn or the design-it-yourself kobe burgers at the Burger Bar in Mandalay Bay — they are both fabulous! They may have long waits but it’s nothing over 1 hour. The Chocolate Swan right next to the Burger Bar has pretty delicious desserts too!

Do you have any great Vegas tips to share?

Thanks for the tips. I’m honeymooning there in exactly….two weeks. So even though it’s not the same mood as a girl’s night…I’m looking for ways to get the most out of my trip with my new husband.

Keep ‘em coming!

I just had my bachlorette party Labor Day weekend! Were you there!? I stayed at the Mandalay bay. Didn’t do the veil thing because we were too hungover the day we were supposed to but I had fun any way! too broke for the spa…

If you can get a VIP host for a weekend… do it! :) Your group will be escorted into clubs w/o a wait, you’ll be on the list for afterhours and all for less than the price of normal door prices. Plus, you get to go where you want, instead of just where group can get in. Use real VIP hosts… not b-party organizers too!
Oh, and look on craigslist.org for condo rentals and stay on the strip in 2-bedroom units for under $200. And for show tickets… check out GoldstarEvents.com for 1/2-price tickets.

Wow, thanks for the great tips, Miss Caramel and Mrs. Lemon! These are VERY helpful…even if my next few Vegas trips won’t be for bachelorette parties. ;)

the best buffet in vegas is the sterling brunch buffet at ballys, its not at the regular buffet place but at the steak house!! its only on sundays and its pricey but well worth it!

I love Mandalay Bay’s Spa. Keep in mind that some ladies walk around naked, and they’re strict with no co-ed interaction. I prefer to get massages from men because of harder pressure, and I was only allowed to be massaged by a female. It was fine, I was just surprised.
