What Have I Missed?!

September 11th, 2007 @ 8:31 am by Mrs. Licorice

Hey y’all! I’m back from Paris, and I see there is a flurry of activity at the hive! I can’t wait to read all the posts I missed! :)

As for the wedding, it was truly the most wonderful day of my life. The day started out cloudy and gray, but by mid-afternoon, the sun had come out to play. The cool breeze added a certain zest to the evening, and all of my guests told me they had a great time!

Since I didn’t have time to post about all things DIY and some general awesomeness before the wedding, I had planned on sharing some of my little projects when I got back. However, my amazing photographer, Heidi Geldhauser of Our Labor of Love, sent me a little present via e-mail: teaser pics! I thought I might save them for later, but F’ that!

So I guess everyone knows I’m a shopaholic now. ;)

Some of the boys had a GQ moment…

I can’t wait to share more! I hope Heidi or her assistant, Courtney, caught the moment when my dad stepped on my train when he was giving me away. Priceless!

Congratulations!! You ceremony location was beautiful! And I love the bustle on your dress - what kind of bustle is that?

Please post more pictures when you get them!

SBH: I went with a french bustle. The seamstress tucked the dress underneath itself. It looks extra full above that because I wore the silk flower and sash that came with the dress for the reception.
