Okay, ladies. Time to spill it. What pet names do you and your fiance/husband have for each other?
I’ll go first.
Mr. Licorice now calls me “wifey.” I call him “lovey.”

I usually call FI “honey” or “babe” — nothing too out of the ordinary — “honey bunches o’ oats” if I’m feeling really crazy. I, however, have been christened “spanky the bottom” by my uber-creative FI. I … don’t know. My dad calls me “toots” — so I’ve pretty much decided that embarassing nicknames are my cross to bear.
I call him honey, sweetie or husband 
He calls me only at home love of his life
I call my FI “sweety-baby.” He calls me “meeps.”
I call him my lovey!
We call each other “da babeshs”
he calls me Dumpling and I call him Stinky
He calls me goldbug (from the Richard Scarry books) and I call him bear. Gross huh?
i call him babe (nothing too peculiar). he calls me boob. =P
I call him “Bear” and he calls me a variety of things including “doll”, “bun”, and “darling”
Nothing much beyond “honey”. Sometimes he’ll come up with names on the fly, but probably due to the look on my face, they don’t get repeated much. 
Actually, I’ve conciously tried to use his first name more than nicknames. Odd? Maybe…but it’s harder than it sounds.
When we were first dating, we’d use our first names. It makes sense right…well something happened as we got to know each other for a longer period of time. We stopped using them. When we moved in together, it would be pretty obvious who he was talking to, so no name there. Calling on the phone…again not much name use there either.
It was really cool to be that comfortable with each other at first, but then I started missing the way he said my name. You know, the unspoken “I love you” when you hear it from the one you love?
Anyone else have go through this?
i used to call him booboo, but he hated that because it reminded him of Yogi Bear. So now it’s the regular ol’ “sweetie” and “babe”.
Hahah!!! I get called “wifey” as well. So, to match, I call him husbandy. Haha there goes all of our self-respect eh!
I call him a whole lot of things - Lovey (too!), Lovey-dovey, and Pumpkin pie - just to name a few.
He calls me Beautiful, Gorgeous, Dearest, and Sugar cookie - just to name a few.
And we also calls each other “Mr. _” and “Mrs. _ ” even though we are only engaged.
I call him snuggle bunny or cuddle monkey. He calls me space heater or rotten if I’m being not so nice!
I call my fiance “boyfriend” and he calls me “girlfriend” … I guess that will have to change when we get married. Funny thing is, everyone else now refers to him as “boyfriend” too!
i call him honey, he calls me baby.

i call him a pain in my rear, he says i’m a pain to his wallet/bank!

We call each other “BaoBei”, which means something like “precious/Baby” in Chinese.
I also call him Babe, which sometimes evolves to Boobie, which then evolves to Boob. He doesn’t like it when I do that in public haa haa.
I call him Sneaks or Pokey. He calls me Peeker.
But usually in everyday conversation it’s “Babe” for both of us.
I call him “baby” most of the time…although when he is getting frisky I tease and call him “Mr.___”(and it has to be said in a “shocked and aghast tone)
He calls me “Boo” and “Snugglebunny”
ha, i have also been getting the “wifey” thing lately altho we still have 8+ months… another thing is, we never use our real names… if we call each other by our first names instead of a nickname it means we’re annoyed about something!
I call him daddy. papi or honey and he calls me mommy, baby or sweetie. Um. Yeah.
We both call each other “babe,” “sweetie,” and “honey.” I also get called “whiskers,” it’s an inside joke that evolved into a nickname. And just in case you’re wondering, NO it has nothing to do with facial hair!!! Lol!
Well, based on my username, you can probably guess…
We call each other Snookies or Snooks, which I guess is probably a variation of the more popular Snookums.
I tried to get people to call him Spanky (his dad, Neal, goes by Buzz, and my FI is a sportswriter so I think he needs an absurd nickname), but that just inevitably devolves into Sir Spanks A Lot for someone unknown reason, so I’ll stick with Snookies.
My fiance and I call each other “Sheep”. Yes, we have the same unusual pet name for each other. It doesn’t have much to do with little woolly four legged farm animals though. As I was being tucked into bed after a long day of hiking in the field, I mumbled, “I’m Sheepy.” Sheepy got shortened to Sheep and it stuck. We’ve been calling each other Sheep for over 7 years!
He calls me “My baby” and I call him Baby Pie - nothing too weird.
I call him ‘my mister’ and I’m forever his ‘babe’
He calls my honey bunny and I call him pooh bear. Of course, this is strictly in private! Usually we call each other by our first names, but if I’m mad at him it’s first/middle!
he usually calls me honey, every once in a while he’ll call me dork, or jokingly call me babycakes. i usually call him baby, babe, or sweetie. if he calls me babycakes, i respond with sweetiepie. hehe, pastry pet names 
I call him POODLE : ) or Hubbers, and he calls me Sum (my middle name is Summer) or Toot- toots…dont ask : (
We both call each other “Honey” or when we are private we call each other “Bun Bun”. We have been calling each other that for so long, that I don’t even remember where it came from now! Hahahah.
At school everyone calls BF by his last name, so other than professors I’m the only one who regularly calls him by his first name. Nickname wise, I call him “babe” most of the time, and when I’m sleepy I call him “handsome.” Why only when I’m sleepy, I don’t know.
I call him “sweet potato pie” “pumpkin pie” “goober” which has been shortened to “goob” and he calls me…”booger” or “boog”. So endearing I know!
it’s either love bug or pumpkin butt….i’d like to think that neither of our butts look like pumpkins and we just call one another this for the hell of it
I call him Pookie Ookie or Ooksters and he calls me Pinchey from a Simpsons episode
We call eachother “hon” most of the time. When Mr. Snow Pea wants me to do something like get him a drink, he’ll call me “lovey”.
angel, i totally understand. i do love hearing my bf say my name, especially when he tells me he loves me. and i have gone through moments when i miss hearing him say my name…then again, there have been moments when i wish he didn’t say my name, usually when he’s upset. lol. isn’t that always the case?
but we do have our own nicknames for each other. we do call each other “wifey” and “hubby” even though we’re not engaged yet. i also call him lovely and brown-eyed wonder. he calls me “my love” and boo and cupcake. and some assorted other sweet names.
we also call each other girlfriend and boyfriend.
aww some of these names are SO cute!! he calls me “babe” and I CANNOT call him anything but his first name!!! SOMETIMES, I call him “Hi Almost-Husband.” hehe
We both call each other “Nugget.” We got it from an episode of Battlestar Galactica.
I also call him “Butt butt” or I like to take a word and add “kins” to the end to make it cuter. “Babykins” “Nugget McNuggekins”

me: Petunka, Lil Petunka/Petunia,Cheese Monkey ( because I can eat the entire wedge of brie or st. andre cheese at one sitting), baby cakes, babe occassionally
him: Kolibrik (aka Hummingbird), sugar buns, little love
we only call each others names in privacy, although my Mom refers to us as Petunka and Kolibrik
I call him “habibi” which is arabic for my beloved and he calls me by my full name
I’m from Wisconsin and went to the UW, so he calls me “Badger” or “Little Badger.” But the reverse — “Tarheel” — just doesn’t work as well….

I call him Monkee, Babe, Hun, Lo Gung Jai (which means “little husband” in Cantonese)
He calls me Nonky, Nonka (both evolved from Nooky because I like to sleep in his arms or “my nook”), Me Nonka, Lo Pao Jai (”little wife” in Cantonese) or Hun/Hunnie when he’s yelling for me in public.
One time I called him by his first name on purpose and he just looked at me like I was nuts. It felt so weird to do that.
Usually it’s babe everything.
One of the first nicknames he gave me was songbird. I call him lovebug sometimes.
My nickname makes me all squishy - he calls me “Shiny”. As in, “You’re my Shiny.” or, “Shiny, can we have chicken for dinner?”
Nothing makes me feel more loved.

He’s my “ducky”, “sweetykins”, “honey pie”, “baby-ah”, and when he’s in a bad mood, “mr. cranky pants”.
I’m his “Sweety pooh pooh bear”, “penguin”, and when I’m being particularly temperamental (usu. around my time of the month), “angry bear”.
he calls me babe or baby … only. when i hear him say my name it’s like “wha?!?!” i call him “buddy” and “my love”
We call each other babers. . . I call him honeybunny . . . he calls me dollface and Red. . . I tried to call him brown/black but it didn’t have the same effect.
I call him Brad and he calls me Ashley.
I only get called “honey” if i’m in trouble! HA!
He also calls me “Ashamely” if he wants something. He also calls me sweetheart from time to time.

For now it’s “boyfriend” or “BF”/ “girlfriend” or “GF”. He also calls me “shorty” (we’re the same height although he likes to think he’s taller than me - people think shorty is hilarious since I’m 6′1″) and I call him “Bazooka Joe” for no apparent reason.

Mostly, we call each other “lady”. Yes, I call him lady lol. Other than that, he calls me baby, honey, gorgeous and all the usual things.
I used to call him my fat fwinky (like Twinky. My nephew used to say Twinky like that)

Ah yes…I’m now recalling the “Mrs. ____” and “Mr. ____” that came as soon as we got married (and maybe just a little before). What fun it was to try out our new titles!
Just for fun, I asked my guy if he had any nicknames for me. He rattled off a few suggestions.
A tickle fight ensued.
I call him loml but I actually say laaamul. (love of my life)
he calls me bridezillah. I think he’s trying to be funny. trying. failing but trying.
i call him ank. he calls me darlin
i call him rudey pig. he calls me dainty
i call him darlin. he calls me darlin.
i call him puppy. he calls me kitty.
ya know, he started calling me panda (it’s a nickname from work). we tried to find an appropriate matching animal nickname for him, but it has just evolved into panda catcher. i suppose it’s appropriate
There are so many that I will respond to, but I call him Sparky and he calls me Pud (short for puddin’ pie). We use those more than our real names, for sure… although I usually try to catch myself from doing it in public!
I call Mr. Hummingbird B and he calls me J.B. or Bean.
I can him blue eyes or hunny if I want something.
He calls me babe or brown eyes. Sometimes I do a double take when he actually calls me my name.
He’s my Bear, and I’m his Duck. His goddaughter was the one who started calling him “Uncle Bear”, and I just loved it. I don’t remember where Duck came from. I also call him “My Boy” when I talk about him to others.
We go by “squishy” like in Finding Nemo
I call him “hubs,” “hubs-band,” or “stinky.” He calls me “wizzle” or “mccrackums.” We are, clearly, just SO grown up!
I call him “bear” or “monster” a lot, with prefixes: sleepybear, snugglebear, cutemonster, etc. He comes up with a new name for me about once a month, but the one that made me laugh for a week was “Fruit by the foot”…. I’m a lot shorter than him - he claims I’m a foot tall - and I was doing something silly/”fruity”.
Real first names are used only when chores or finances are involved.
I call him a few things: “googly bear” (from Monsters’ Inc :)) or “mi amor” or “my love” or just “baby” He mostly calls me “babe”.
We do, oddly enough, have very similar nicknames we’ve had since we were young which we sometimes use: his is “shai” and mine is “sigh”…which was a pretty cool coincidence.
it’s usually “babe” for us both, but i do love when he calls me “sweet gabrielle,” which developed from the neil diamond song, “sweet caroline!” he just decided one day that i fit with that song, and i was deemed “sweet gabrielle.” we even sang along to the original song at our wedding reception, but everyone yelled out “gabrielle” at the name part! i loved it
I find it quite adorable that we all get all giggly about our nicknames between ourselves and our loved ones
We call each other Nubbie. But, since getting engaged, its become Mr and Mrs Nubberson (or Nubberstein, cause its almost halloween, so like frakenstein)
We sometimes call each other Fiance(e) or he’s started with NUB-ancee (yes, he’s 5.)
The cutest so far has been the first time we talked over IM after getting engaged (we talk online while at work sometimes) he came on and said “Hi fi on say” I was all confused and said “Huh?!” and he said, “I dont know how to spell it” so i had to phonetically sound it out to get he was saying “Hi, Fiance” I thought it was adorable.
Well I call him Snaggle sometimes or sweetie. Snaggle came from when he was being kind of a brat and I called him Snagglepuss and it got shortened into Snaggle. He calles me Talkie Pillow when we are in bed and he’s sleepy. He’ll be like “Come here Talkie Pillow its time to sleep”.
we’re weird, we call each other “bear.” so when we first got engaged to get myself out of trouble with him i’d go “HUBBY BEAR!” and he’d surrender and go “yes wifey bear?”
but sweetie is used a lot.
Yay! I call him. “Muffin,” “Mr. Pants,” and “Crabby Pants” when he’s crabby. He calls me “Babes” or “Lady.” Twee!
He calls me Sexy Muffin, and Shnuggle Bunny, and Shwoopie (or Shwoops). I call him Shmoopie (or Shmoops) and Sexy Man, lol We’re such dorks.!
Well this is embarassing. I am BunnyBoo and he is BooBear. Sometimes we are both just BOO. We hardly ever use each others actual names..its weird. Its just “hi Boo” as if thats normal. we forget sometimes that we are in public…
so, reading all of these makes me wish we had more nicknames…usually he just calls me babe…nothin else..when we use first names, one of us is in trouble..haha
I tend to call him, my love, babe, honey,sweetie, and darling sometimes. how do I get him to call me more nicknames??
