update: More pics added at end!
Veil #1
I wanted my veil to be interesting and elaborate since my train was short and had almost no detail. There was a design on one of the bridal gowns that I tried on that I loved, so I took a shot of that and my graphic designer best friend/bridesmaid was able to make a copy out of it on her computer.

I purchased a plain cathedral length veil and I asked my friend who sews and does bead work to help me make a veil out of the design. She blew up a large version of the design and worked off of that. Here are some pictures of the process:

and the finished veil…!

If anyone would like her information regarding veil bead work, her email is beadedveils@gmail.com. She’s one of my very good friends, so I would highly recommend her!
Veil #2
Some people asked about the birdcage veil I wore in my e-pics.
I found the veil on myweddingveil.com and had a great experience! This one woman hand makes them all. She’s VERY sweet and accommodating. I told her I wanted a very simple look, but wouldn’t mind some feathers and some jewelry. The cost was a bit expensive ($85 total with shipping) but I absolutely loved it! I’m actually going to sell this beauty after the wedding for much cheaper, so if you’re interested please let me know!
