Continuing with the theme series, it seems lately I’ve noticed a zillion adorable “bird” items on the market:

Images, left to right, from top:
1. Many brides-to-be know about the beautiful birds and cake toppers from Ann Wood, but they’re pricey and made in limited quantity. Here’s a similar bird that sells for $36 on Etsy. Or, for a really inexpensive version of a bird cake topper, check out the $3.99 dove couple at Save-on-Crafts.
2. Correspondence cards from The Paper Source, $12.50 for 8
3. Wendy Kromer cake ornaments, $25 each
4. Favor boxes, DIY instructions on Martha Stewart’s site
5. Birdcages for card boxes or decoration, $29.99 for 2 at Save-on-Crafts
6. Feather comb fascinator, 29 British pounds at BD-i Design
7. “Aviary” journal (perhaps a charming bridesmaid gift?), $21.99 from Elum Designs
8. “Lovebirds” steel ornament, $18 at Bunny Maxwell
9. Bird’s Nest favors, $1.50 (for nest) at Wedding Things
10. Bird hair stick, $5.50 on Etsy (Or, how about a pair of cheery bluebird bobby pins for your “something blue”? Available for $5 on Etsy.)
11. Crane paper lantern, $6.50 at The Paper Lantern Store
12. “Birds of a Feather” invitations from White Aisle (see also their lovely Port Antonio bird invitations)
13. Peacock wall decal, $5 on Etsy
And finally, a link to one item that’s currently sold out — quirky “Birdie with Bubble” tags (for gifts, welcome packages, etc.) on Etsy.
Is anyone having a bird-themed wedding? Are there any fabulous items out there that I missed?
