It’s A Steal And It Was On TV

September 25th, 2007 @ 11:01 am by Mrs. Lollipop

Okay, I will admit that I am a huge fan of Arrested Development. I own all of the DVDs, refer to each episode by its title, and force friends to watch whenever I get the chance. So, I have been following the official prop and wardrobe auctions since the beginning on ebay.

So, why am I posting about this? Well, this week there is a wedding dress for sale, one worn on screen by Charlize Theron as she played the part of Rita in the third season. And while Charlize might have worn it over her clothes, it’s still a cute dress by the designer brand Melody Of CA and a steal at $103 (as of this posting). Plus, it comes with a fuzzy pink crown. How could anyone resist?

There isn’t any size information available, so be prepared to invest in a good seamstress.

I love love Arrested Development! We wanted to use Gob’s magic show theme songs for our bridal party entrance, but we didn’t think anyone would “get it.”

I have to show Mr. GB, thanks for the link! He still sits and giggles occasionally when thinking about the show, only to get sour when he thinks about the cancellation.

I LOVE AR! I was seriously, very, very sad when they canceled the show and I still watch reruns all the time.

But does it come with a “tiny teddy”?

Oh how I love AD! My husband and I watch the episodes over and over and like Mr. GB we get bitter when we think it was cancelled after 3 years and so many other craptastic sitcoms go on and on and on…

Whenever there’s any kind of a dustup at either of our workplaces, the other will always ask “Are you at all afraid of an uprising?” accompanied by swooping Buster-esque hand gesture.

And of course, no “air quoting” while drinking is good advice for anyone.
