Yum — what a sweetie. Was the stand mixer a wedding gift? I love mine. I actually found something in the cabinet last night that Mr. Onion wanted to give me as part of a wedding present but didn’t know how to integrate — it was a Stonewall Kitchen Banana Pankcake mix (like the Jack Johnson song we love so much). I told him he should have just kept it hidden and made them for me some morning as a surprise! Alas — they’ll still be yummy.

Mrs. Onion - Yes we bought the Kitchenaid with our gift card that we got from the wedding. It was the first time he used it. I guess I should have mentioned it, oops.

Awe make sure you post about it when Mr. Onion makes you those pancakes! I love Stonewall Kitchen jams and the regular pancakes.

“makin’ banana pancakes”….I love that line.

That inspired me to find a banana pancake recipe I love. If you don’t have one, I highly recommend Ina Garten’s Banana Sour Cream Pancakes. The only thing I do differently is add cinnamon.
