Much to the chagrin of my readers, I blogged about my honeymoon to The Palms in Turks & Caicos (here and here) while on my honeymoon last year. Mr. Spider and I had a great time relaxing and doing almost nothing but enjoy each other’s company. Since our anniversary trip is coming up, I ventured into my archive photos for a trip down memory lane.

Turk’s beaches really epitomize turquoise waters and powder white sand. The Palm’s beach service is spectacular. Attendants walk you to your cabanas, lay down towels and open free bottles of water for you.

I think because the tap water isn’t suitable for drinking, The Palms has an endless supply of free water for the taking.

The pods around the infinity pool are so comfortable you can spend an entire day there being lazy. Add wireless internet service and you get newlyweds blogging on their honeymoon! Again, since it was low season, we had no problems getting pods or chairs.

I’m normally not a fan of massages but after getting one couples massage, we couldn’t resist going back for a second session. During one of the sessions while we were laying in beds side by side I suddenly heard Mr. Spider’s masseuse yell out “hey, no kicking!”. Turns out she got to Mr. Spider feet and he’s insanely ticklish. He was embarrassed but I laughed for two minutes solid. He would later claim that she tried to “man handle” his toes.

Despite my debilitating fear of heights, we partook in some parasailing and had a blast.

Until our guides jokingly dipped us into the water.

They were so cool though, we couldn’t be mad.

Our room was beautiful and our balcony overlooked the pool and beach. We especially enjoyed the romantic turn down service each night.

And lastly, the food was just divine.  Drool.
