Something Pink Gown Sale

October 3rd, 2007 @ 5:36 pm by Mrs. Ant

Something Pink is a three-day wedding gown sale and fundraiser hosted by Brides magazine and Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation. The event will feature a wide range of favorite designers selling at amazingly affordable prices. This is your chance to find a fabulous gown for your wedding, and help grant wishes for terminal breast cancer patients.”

The event takes place October 4-6th at 122 West 26th Street between 6th and 7th Avenue.

Bee and I had a great time volunteering at this event last year. As she mentioned, there was a great selection of dresses in a wide range of sizes, styles, and prices. The event last year also offered veils and other accessories and I actually bought myself a Fenaroli for Regalia veil for a reduced price of $35.

I got a good deal, found the perfect veil, and had a lot of fun. To top it all off, it all went to a great cause! What’s not to love?

Of course I highly recommend this event to any bride who’s searching for her dress. I look forward to volunteering again later this week with Bee. If you see us there, be sure to come over and say hello! happy046

Since we’re talking about breast cancer awareness fundraisers, I should mention that 1-800-Free411 is donating $1 per new caller (up to $25K) during the month of October. For details and links to health information: http://www.free411.com/pink

Thanks,
Paul
