A Stamp For The Newlyweds

October 5th, 2007 @ 11:24 am by Mrs. Violet

I found the perfect gift to give to newlyweds: a personalized stamp! I only wish that one of our guests thought of this, but alas, no one did, so I went ahead and bought two stamps from Sweet Papery - an address stamp and a stamp for my etsy shop. The address stamp will come in handy when it’s time to send out those Christmas cards. I just love how “our” last name appears on the stamp.

There’s a great selection of stamps available, all personalized. Besides address stamps, there are monogram stamps too which are perfect for newlyweds. It would also be a great bridal party gift as well. I know I’d love to receive one if I were a bridesmaid. I love them all. These stamps are definitely on my “gifts to buy” list. The owner and creator, Farrah was wonderful to work with. If you do decide to check out her store, let her know that Mrs. Violet sent ya!

HOW CUTE!!! I have a personalized embosser that I use for handwritten letters, which I love, but I like the idea of using a stamp too. Great find!

I’ve been toying with the idea of a personalized stamp since seeing some of the great DIY projects here. I think they’re great…much better than the labels I’m using now.

And it will satisfy that crafts and scrapbooking gene that gets me into so much trouble!

That is such a great idea! I’m going to order one for some dear friends who just got married.

They’re beautiful! May I ask the dimensions of the stamped area for the bottom etsy stamp?

My sister ordered address stamps from this seller a while ago. They are nice. My only complaint would be that the font is tiny. Her name & address were kind of long and the font was really tiny on the stamp. It kind of made it hard to read.

Hi Mrs. Violet.

I wanted to thank you for featuring me on this blog! Wow it is fun to see the response from everyone. And I am so glad you like your stamps.

eisor- If your sister contacts me I would be happy to redo her stamp free of charge. Sometimes that happens when an address is too long and someone wants a particular font and size stamp, etc. I try to warn them in advance if I think it will not be readable, but I don’t always catch them. :(
