Everyone kept telling me that I wouldn’t have time to eat. Screw that. I MADE time. Turkey stuffed figs, wrapped in bacon? Mini cubano sandwiches? Mashed potato martini bar? Carving station? Yeah, I don’t pass those kinds of things up.
Menus/Table numbers.
You can sorta see part of the mashed potato martini bar. And the guests clamoring for food. They look like we kept them in a cage before feeding! 
The grapefruit margaritas were mighty strong. I won’t tell you how long I searched for pink straws. I ended up finding packs of 100 in the dollar bin at Target. Score!
A few shots of the shabby chic linens we had. We did simple runners for the tables around the dance floor and big overlays for the bigger tables.
I wish I had gotten a shot of our napkins! We had plain ivory napkins wrapped in light pink ribbon with little crystals attached to each. DAMN!!
I went a little overboard on the lanterns. They were everywhere. I also wasn’t real pleased with the shade of some of the pink flowers used…they were a little bright.
Yeh - someone told me I wouldn’t have time to eat and I’m like “uh huh? no one’s going to get between me and buffet!”
I’m with you. all that time doing wedding menu planning and you think I’m not going to sit down and enjoy it! heck to the yes to you.
Where oh where did you find the pink initials that are in the 2nd to last picture? And your table runners!? I am in search of both…thanks for your help! And I love the idea of a mashed potato martini bar…how creative!
They initials were just cardboard h’s that we got from Michael’s and painted.

The table runners were from a place in Edmonds called Select Linens and Event Rentals.
I L O V E the laterns. Where did you find them? I am on the hunt for our fall 2008 wedding.
I got them all over the place. In different shades of pink and a few brown. I’m selling if you are interested! 
Oops. Not in pink and brown. der. My mind is mush. Just brown.
I also ate at my wedding - dinner and cake! I agree, you make the time. I’m already thinking about dinner when I wake up in the morning on an ordinary day - I really look forward to meals. The wedding was no exception.

It looks like you have brown and pink as your wedding colors - those are mine too for my August ‘08 wedding.
I know you already started to talk to someone about buying your lanterns, but I would really appreciate it if you told me some names of where you picked those up. I have looked at several stores here in Columbus, OH and have not had any luck really…

Ooh, Where did you get your lanterns?
The lanterns are from all over. I got a lot from Marshalls, TJ Max, Fred Meyer and specialty garden shops. HTH!
