Open Letter To Fed-Ex

October 10th, 2007 @ 2:17 pm by Mrs. Pearl

Dear Fed-Ex,

I know that you are professionals. I know that you are in the business of delivering packages. I also know that you are restrained by the laws of physics in how quickly you can deliver packages. However, please be advised that my photographer has shipped my proof book and my CD of high resolution images through your service. As such, I must demand that you ignore the laws of physics and the natural world to get me my wedding pictures ASAP. Since you are professionals, I am sure you have dealt with requests like this and would be more than happy to accommodate my neurosis.

Thank you for your time!

Sincerely,
Anxious Wife

I hate Fed Ex (and UPS- they are all the same). But mostly I just hate Fed Ex. I work in the shipping business and how Fed Ex seems to chap my hide all the time, I can’t figure out.
So good luck.

Ah yes, here’s what doesn’t make sense to me….

My guy and I both work during the day. Fed-Ex, UPS, and DHL do the majority of the their deliveries during our work hours. I think I’ve lucked out twice in our five years together. If you’re supposed to sign for something and the person isn’t there to do so, why do you insist on returning at the same time…for all three attempts. Clearly we’re not there. And then to go and pick up our package…ah yes: limited hours and different cities.

I just started sending all my incoming packages to my mom’s house.

When you see the delivery guy…I would remind him that the motto for Fed-Ex is “The World on Time”, and he is obviously late!
