i guess i wonder about bride/groom themed favors… what do the guests do with them when they get home? i think they’re cute and i can see have bride/groom salt & pepper shakers for each table in place of normal ones… but it just seems silly to give something that no one would use on a normal day.

i think this is why i like favors that are food (of course) or not blatantly wedding related. that being said, these favors are pretty cheap compared to a lot i’ve seen.

The only favors I would use are ones that you can eat or drink. Honestly…everything else people just throw out.

Mini champagne bottles, mini wine bottles, cookies, spices, chocolate, candy…..these are favors people mostly like I think. I’ve tossed so many pear candles and mini engraved picture frames then I care to remember!

I got a silver plated wine stopper as a favor once, still have it. But I don’t think I would use those salt and pepper shakers. Cute though.

Yeah, I wasn’t going to say it first, but…who would take this stuff home? This is just junk. If you’re going to do favors, make them more consumable or something people would actually want. (Sorry!) This kind of reminds me of that “wedding kleenex” post a while back….

I agree with most posts above. However, I did use this website for favors for a bridal shower I threw for my good friend. Reasonable priced, great shipping time. We gave personalized lip balm tins (a pick of one of the other bridesmaids) and mirrors in silk bags. Useful items that many women would find handy in her bag.
