Invitations

October 15th, 2007 @ 1:27 pm by Mrs. Peppermint

As I mentioned before, the invitations are out! Now that I know the first batch was sent, I can post more of what they look like.On Friday, I posted about how I used the Gocco to make custom maps. We also used it to make an insert for our welcome party (Ice Cream Social!) that we’re hosting the night before the wedding, following the rehearsal dinner.

Mr. Peppermint did most of the design work on Adobe Photoshop. We used a swatch from the oilcloth tablecloths that we bought for the ice cream social to inspire our design. Here is what the swatch looks like (we bought it from Hart Fabrics):

Here is our welcome party insert:

Inserts all over the floor to dry…

The rest of the invitation was ordered through Oslo press. Here is what the invitation looks like:

Here is the reply card and envelope:

And here is the whole packet:

Please post a bigger pic of the map!!! I’m looking to do all my STdates/invites with a gocco. I’m interested in seeing what others are doing with theirs.

Your stuff is charming & very well designed BTW.

They look fantastic! I always loved the wood veneer idea for stationery. I still remember the first time I saw wooden postcards in Yosemite…
