Setting the right mood was very important to me. I wanted an evening wedding with lots of candlelight. “But guests are going to be so hot in the church with that many candles!” I think they can handle a half hour of hot flashes for the sake of ambiance! 
We got an assortment of ivory and light pink candles from Ikea for the altar.
And candelabras at the end of each pew added even more light! Although, I must say that the flowers were supposed to be little wreaths around the bottoms of the candles..not tied to the base. Not the look I was going for. 
And of course more candlelight was emitted from each table!

Wow! That “iron wall with the votives” (excuse my lack of ability to describe things) at your reception…did you bring that in or was that provided by the site? Either way its GORGEOUS!
Definitely not a million bucks! 
We really tried to save money where we could so that we could splurge on others. Ie. $20 earrings, ebay finds, baby’s breath.

The wall of votives comes with the venue. You can rent and oil votives!
