About Mrs. Strawberry

The programs were my biggest pain in my ass. There was the paper folding. There was the paper punch on the front cover. There was the issue of getting the yarn through the itty bitty little holes. Then there was getting all the info onto less than 10 pages. Who wants to read a 10 page wedding program!?

Programs in the pink galvanized bucket that I bought on Ebay. I had originally bought it for beverages. I obviously didn’t read the dimensions…cause I was greatly disappointed when it came in the mail and it was uber tiny.

I was lucky enough to get all the graphics from our invitations to use in our programs. They looked like our invites and yet we didn’t pay an arm and a leg to have them done. Just my trusty Hewlett Packard officejet!

I put a little blurb about each groomsman and bridesmaid in the program–an idea I actually stole from own of my clients! Thanks Erin! :)

The guestbook was just a simple Kolo album.

And instead of a picture on the cover, I made this little graphic.

It got the job done! :)

Good job making that bucket work for something else. Those programs are awesome.

And me….I’d read a 10 pager. I’m crazy like that. :)

Mrs. Strawberry I LOVE LOVE LOVE the flower graphic you used behind the words “Guest Book”!! Do you have the file of just the flower graphic? If so is there any possibility that you would be willing to share it with me? Please email me or send me a private message if you can!

Hey Miss S! Could you share with us what your “blurbs” about each BM/GM said? I’m curious as to what kind of information you wrote about them. was it info of how a BM is special/relates to you, or was it more “general info” about each person?

I’m so stealing this idea :) I just want to see what you wrote about each person!

I think the programs look great! And I love the bucket.

How many programs did you make compared to how many quests you had? I’ve heard from a lot of people that there were tons of programs left from their wedding.

i like how your programs turned out and way to find another use for the bucket. at least it didn’t go to waste.

what font did you use for the guest book design?

MissStrawberry says:

I’m not a graphic desinger–but I would love to be one! :)

We had a lot of left over programs.

For the guest book design, I’d have to look at home, cause I don’t have the font on my work computer. :) I’ll get back to you!! ;)

Mrs. Strawberry, I must say I am so impressed with your wedding. The attention to detail and amount of labor that went into it was stunning. It looks like you carried your theme out flawlessly. Nice job!

I’ve been to a wedding (well, two now) that had the blurbs in the program.

Each time it has been about how the bride and/or groom knew the party member, and maybe what they’re up to in their lives (Miss Strawberry mentioned where they work and what they like doing).

The other wedding I went to it was more about saying thanks to the party member and why that person is special to the bride/groom.

MissStrawberry says:

Miss Penguin-
The blurbs were three fold. :) I wrote how we knew them, what they do, and a little something about them.

Example.
Denise is another one of Miss Strawberry’s sorority sisters. She is a manager at Nordstomrs where she also spends her hard earned pay checks. She has a wicked sense of humor that never fails to make Miss Strawberry laugh.

HTH! :)

I totally love your Kolo album idea for your guest book. I’ve been looking for a more modern twist to a guest and I just found it. I just think I’m going to use your idea. Love the font to Ma, I use it too all the time.
