Return Of The Nerd

October 19th, 2007 @ 3:57 pm by Mrs. Canary

Good Stock Bindery is another great internet find. If I didn’t already have a job that I love… this would be it.

images from good-stock.com

They’re a company that makes custom books and stories about families. It’s not just a photo album, but a compilation with narrative. I think this would make great parent gifts! Both sets of parents have already contributed so much to the wedding, I want to give them something special and reminiscent of all they have done for us. Mr. C and I are quite lucky our parents have been so supportive about the wedding and our new life together, so I think we should get them something very heartfelt and meaningful.

Do you have any other ideas for good parent gifts?

This is a fabulous question! I’m working on the same thing! I want to give my FMIL something very sentimental and meaningful. I’ve thought about a really nice handkerchief (sp?) with a note promising to wipe his tears from now on and thanking her for wiping them all those years. But I’m still looking for other ideas. I love the book! Great find!

Miss Canary, I’m starting to think we were separated at birth. I love that book idea– the whole Good Stock website actually. I’m totally ordering the family tree for my parents. Thank you for sharing!
